Sidmouth Colts made their way into the third round of the Colts National Cup at the expense of Dorchester with this win against Dorchester at the Blackmore Field on Sunday.

When Dorchester failed to catch the ball from kick off, Sidmouth took possession to set up a try for Harry Guy.

Midway through the half Dorchester equalised through their forwards after a series of rucks on the line.
Sidmouth regained the lead when Charlie Farrington powered over from the base of a ruck near the line.

Dorchester narrowed the lead with a penalty just before halftime.

The result was in the balance until James Doulton finished off a slick handing move at the start of the final quarter before Harry Guy’s second try put the result beyond doubt. Jack Garner added the conversion.

On Saturday the Colts travel to Exmouth.
