DEREK PALMER OBITUARY

Sidmouth Rugby Club is sad to announce the death of Life Member Derek (Bunny) Palmer at the age of 90.

Derek was the club’s oldest member. He joined the Club after the Second World War playing for the Colts. After retiring from playing in the 1960s, he joined the committee on which he served until 1995.

Derek was one of a group of players who built the original clubhouse, which opened in 1961, and the extension opened in 1969.
