As we prepare for another exciting season at Sidmouth RFC, we'd like to thank all our members, players, volunteers and supporters for their continued commitment to the club.
Following a review of our membership structure, we have introduced updated membership categories and subscription fees for the 2026/27 season. These changes are intended to simplify our membership offering, ensure fairness across all sections of the club, and help support the ongoing development of rugby at Sidmouth RFC.
Choosing the Correct Membership Category
To ensure everyone is registered correctly, please use the following guidance when renewing your membership:
- You must hold the highest level of membership that applies to you. For example, if you are playing rugby, it is not appropriate to rely solely on a Family Membership.
- If you play rugby in any capacity, you must hold a Playing Membership. This includes members returning to play for just one or two games before deciding whether to continue. Once you are playing, you should upgrade to a Playing Membership.
- Playing Membership also applies to members who coach and play, including those coaching junior teams while also participating in rugby activities.
- All Playing Memberships are £120 per season, with the option to pay by instalments over a six month period.
- All membership subscriptions must be arranged by 1 October to ensure your membership remains active for the season.
Renewing Your Membership
We ask all members to renew their membership as soon as possible for the new season.
Renewals can be completed via:
- England Rugby's Game Management System (GMS), or
- The Sidmouth RFC website
Please take a few moments to check that you have selected the correct membership category before completing your renewal. Renewing early helps the club with planning for the season ahead and ensures players are registered and eligible to participate.

Your membership is much more than a subscription. It helps fund our facilities, pitches, coaching, equipment, insurance, player development and the many activities that make Sidmouth RFC such a successful and welcoming community club.
Whether you're pulling on a Sidmouth shirt, cheering from the touchline, supporting as a Patron or helping develop the next generation of players, your membership makes a real difference.
If you are unsure which membership category is appropriate for you or your family, please contact the Membership Secretary before renewing. We will be happy to help ensure you are registered under the correct category.
